Listing is free, and stays free. Paying for any SourceDesk service never changes what a journalist finds or how results rank.

How to list your releases

Add releases@sourcedesk.co.za to your distribution list. That's it: send your releases as you normally would.

We turn each release into entries: a statistic with its source, date and method; a quote with the speaker's name, role and organisation; or a dated fact. A person checks every entry before it goes live. Sending a release to that address means you agree to our Agency Listing Terms, which cover permission to publish its quotes.

Listing is free for every agency, founding member or not. Company newsrooms and once-off services are charged from the start.

Optional: data licensing

Later, SourceDesk may license its collection of entries, with every attribution intact, to research teams and analysts. Our Agency Listing Terms promise we won't include your content without your separate written consent. Founding members can give that consent when they sign up, by answering yes in their email. It's optional, it doesn't affect your listing, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to hello@sourcedesk.co.za.
