1. Who we are
SourceDesk (sourcedesk.co.za) is run by 3VI (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/283266/07, Cape Town, South Africa. Contact us at hello@sourcedesk.co.za.
2. What SourceDesk is
A free collection of statistics, quotes, facts and press releases, supplied by PR agencies and public sources, for journalists and anyone researching South African business.
3. Using our content
You may copy entries and release text for reporting, research and commentary. Keep the attribution we provide, and credit the original source in your work. Don't copy the collection in bulk, scrape the site, or resell our content without our written permission.
4. Check before you publish
Entries come from third parties. We check that every entry names its source, date and method, but we can't guarantee that a figure or quote is accurate, complete or current. Verify against the primary source before publication. Entries marked SAMPLE are fictional demonstrations; never publish them.
5. Payment never changes results
Agencies and their clients can pay for services. Payment never affects what you find on SourceDesk or how results rank, and every paid feature is labelled.
6. Fair use of the site
Don't use SourceDesk for anything unlawful, try to get around its security, pretend to be someone else, or send spam to our addresses.
7. Ownership
The site's design and the way we organise content belong to 3VI (Pty) Ltd. Each entry belongs to its owner.
8. Our liability
We provide SourceDesk as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for losses from using its content. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
10. Law
South African law governs these terms, and South African courts hear any dispute.
